  1. BK List
    Features/Information
   
  • File updated weekly via all courthouses in US
  • BK Chapter 7 or 13 are available
  • No bureau is pulled (thus no credit score or other credit information is available)
  • Approximately 35% of BK customers buy a vehicle within 30 days of BK discharge in order to begin re-establishing their credit
  • The BK list is most commonly used with an offer of credit, but can be used with any mailer

  • Generally, newer BK's draw better than BK's over 1 year old
  • Pre-discharged BK's are solicited less frequently than discharged BK, but dealers need to either have a finance source for pre-discharged BK or will need to hold the contract until the BK is discharged before funding

    Features/Information
   
  • This is a custom list based on the CPS finance program criteria
  • File is built by Experian and updated every 30 days
  • Dealer can specify "high/low" range of desired FICO score
  • Selected Criteria
    • No multiple BK or open BK
    • No multiple repo or repo less than 1 year old
    • No heavy current delinquent credit
    • No currently delinquent mortgage
  • This list must be used with an offer of credit mailer

  • This list spans the credit spectrum from First Time Buyer to mid level "non prime" customer
  • Because this list is pulled from a CREDIT bureau, income and job time filters are not available
     
  3. Pre Qualified List
    Features/Information
   
  • This is a credit bureau list from Equifax
  • Available filters include:
    • Beacon score
    • Presence of auto or repossession
    • Presence of BK
    • Time in bureau
    • Number of open trade line

  • CPS has set a "standard package" list of criteria for a mid level sub/non prime buyer
  • This list is used with an offer of credit mailer
     
  4. Resident/Occupant List
    Features/Information
   
  • No credit bureau pull
  • Lists can be filtered in many ways:
    • Automobile owners: year, make, model (some or all)
    • Customer profile: age, income, residence type
    • Modeled credit score: Prime (660+), Non Prime (620-659), Sub Prime (540-619), Credit challenged (less than 540
